The team is a friendly and welcoming group for women aged 40 and over, offering a fun way to stay active, make new friends, and enjoy the game regardless of experience or ability. Whether you’ve played football before or are completely new to the sport, everyone is encouraged to get involved.
Walking football has become increasingly popular across the UK, providing all the enjoyment of the game while being adapted to suit players of all fitness levels. The emphasis is firmly on participation, friendship, wellbeing, and having fun.
The Peacehaven & Telscombe Women’s Walking Football Team meets every Monday from 6pm to 7pm at Peacehaven & Telscombe Football Club, BN10 8RH. New players are always welcome, and the team prides itself on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for local women.
